Christof,

I was hoping to take advantage of the existing Export Dialog box instead of having to reprogram the same functionality from scratch.

I'm getting the dimmed out _MFI_EXPORT bar while running my app from the main.prg and not from an .app or .exe file. Since MS includes _MFI_EXPORT when they build a Quick Menu, I assume that it is supposed to work but what is the internal SKIP FOR that activates or deactivates it, I don't know. Like I said, from the command window the Export bar is activeated even when no table is selected so why would it be deactivated when running from a .prg WITH a table selected?

I think that I will just go ahead and build my own "Export Dialog Box" and not waste any more time on this. I'll have more control over it anyway.

Thanks again.

Ed

>Several menu bars behave differently in the EXE, mainly those that are meant for interactive work with VFP. Usually you can easily work around this by calling the appropriate command, EXPORT in your case.
