Theoretically it is possible - yes ... there is a file over in the downloads area that is attempting to make it a viable alternative .

BUT ... and it is a big but, 2.5 and 5.0 or 6.0 now - are radically
different methods of programming. To get all of the real benefits
from OOP you need to start from basics and build up your application
properly. Bases classes ... inherritance ... etc

Also if you have used tools like GenscrnX in 2.5 ... they simply will
not work ... and for that matter you would not want them to in most
cases given that most of the things people used genscrnx for are
now implemented inside the framework of VFP.
