I am not sure why you would want to develop your own framework when there are several good ones already available? I have been using the Mere Mortals Framework for almost a year and it has saved me many hours and done things much better than I ever would have. They have a listing under the third party section here on UT, look for Codebook for Mere Mortals. They also have a web site www.oakleafsd.com. For a couple hundred dollars, you spend more time on your applications and less on the framework.
