If your VFP5 was working properly before and simply converting to VFP6 now makes it freeze, I'm pretty sure it's DCOM crap (excuse me, stuff) that's doing it. Also search threads with "C0000005 errors" for more answers.
I know M$ put out a new Setup that does better checking for DCOM but since Mr. Koziol said SP2 is available, this is probably the best solution. That's what I'm going to get ASAP.
