In a past life with FoxPro Dos 2.x I integrated a system with Surfer to produce contour maps. I simply launched surfer with a parameter input file using the RUN command. Specifically, I used the RUN /0 option I believe to optimize memory or something. I imagine you could use a simlar technique to accomplish basic functionality. (ie RUN /0 VPIC gif_Name). I remember seeing add-ons also that supported this stuff in FP 2.x for DOS and Windows. You may want to look into the following: T-BASE from Hallogram (303)340-3404?; ProMatrix (800)889-7058. I know there are others out there; but they may no longer be available. After all, FoxPro DOS is behind in the times and third party developers do not want to waste their time. htwh. Steve
