>I know that I've just got a brain cramp, but maybe one of you could help. I want to get a comma seperated file in a table. I don't know the lengths of the fields coming in so I can't predefine a table to put them into. I know that the Import wizard in VFP6 does this, but I'll be darned if I can figure out how.

Donald,

I had the same trouble once, about 8 or 9 months ago, and somebody posted a message with code that would import from any text delimited based file and would create a table from it. I lost the program since and haven't been able to find it, but if you do a search on the previous messages posted at the UT, I'm sure you will find it. I think trying to figure out the code that comes with the wizards and trying to apply it for your own use, might be a little time consuming, but if you can afford the time then have fun.

HTH,

Gil
