No, the operating system doesn't seem to matter. There must be some DLL or network configuration that is causing the slowness.

>>>>We have several machines on Windows 95 and 98 and NT 4.0. On some of the machines the connection speed is several times slower than others. We have switched connections to hubs to make sure the hub is not at fault. We have a feeling that it has something to do with the Windows network setup. Has anyone encountered this?? Any solution?

>Is the problem specific with an operating system? Like is 95 and 98 run fast and NT runs slow? We have the same problem but it seems that only the NT Workstations run slow. We haven't come up with a solution yet. We have switch from named pipes to TCP/IP with no progress.
