>VISUAL AUTOMATION SERVERs (your term) do not exist. Any user interface has to be provided by the program that accesses the automation server and can't be built into the automation server itself.
This may be true in a pursits C++ world... however, as the DOC's clearly state...
"An out-of-process .exe Automation server can have a user-interface."
That interface is part of the Automation server... so when you say "can't be" you are incorrect as far as a VFP 6.0 Out-Of-Process COM Object (Automation Server)
