If you use SET DELETED ON in your app, you MUST have an index with DELETED() as the expression so that Rushmore can fully optimize. Otherwise FoxPro must read the entire table checking the first byte of each record.

>I'm guessing that indexing on DELETED() is your problem. Records marked for deletion are ignored by commands, but NOT by the index (and therefore RUSHMORE). Just for laughs, try getting rid of the DELETED tags and try it again.
