In that case, I'd suspect that the tag you think it *should* be using doesn't exactly match your parameter exp. Come to think of it, David Frankenbach had a case a while back where he had to "flip" the expression (he changed "a=b" to "b=a") to get full optimization. I don't know that that is the case...but you might want to see if it applies? Let me know if you can't find the thread and I'll give searching a try.
