>There's one "unorthodox" thing I've gotten into the habit of doing sometimes. Maybe this flakes out the U.T. interface and I'm to blame. For the past several weeks, rather than hitting the thumbtacked-yellow-note icon to refresh, I've been hitting F5 (ie refresh command), and responding to the resulting dialog box: "Yes, repost form data." I assume this is the equivalent of re-logging in to U.T., which should be fine. And it's never at this point that I miss messages. It's just when I first log in that I'm not seeing some of the messages posted since I last logged out.

Hi Rich

First of all, I'm sorry you are having problems with the refresh of messages.
Please, keep in mind that the way to get support on how to use the Universal Thread is by email. I don't have the time to read all messages so I may miss some sometimes. I also usually never interfere with online request like this. All should be sent to my email.

As for the refresh of messages, if you hit F5, this is not the same thing as hitting the Go button or clicking on the yellow button. If you click F5, all panels will refreshed. This will take longer. I can't also predict the behavior of the browser on such a request. I would say it should be the same but as mentioned by another member, it was not the same at specific occasions.

Using the Go button or the yellow button should be ok. Let me know by private email if this solve the situation. We can continue this thread offline. This is not the place for it.
