Yes, locally you can have VFP server as an interface. The only good think about that is that you can use such server with different env. like VB, Delphi and ... . You still have to install it on each client machine. If your users are pure VFP users than why to buther with local servers? Of course that's just my personal opinion. Thanks for sharing MS example.
