Replication involves keeping multiple copies of a database in synch. Server databases like SQL Server and Oracle have this capability built-in. The closest thing native to VFP is probably off-line views.
BLOBs are Binary Large Objects. They can be Word docs, GIFs, whatever. You can store them in memo or general fields.
