If you open the .scx/.vcx and look in the properties memo all you see is a filename or a relative path if the file is on the path. I do not recall exactly what it was that we figured that caused it but we worked on the problem a great deal. If I remeber correctly, it had something to do with graphics of PC you develop on and format for ico file.
>You might check the color palette of your PC and if ico is 32x32 or 48x48. Sorry I could not be more precise because it was over 18 months ago we dealt with this. I do know we did not have to go through all forms and classes and that the problem was cured throughout our app.
