Er, um, ahh ... I'm at a loss. (I know you can't believe it.) All I can think is that maybe a private data session defaults to MULTILOCKS=ON, but I would think it would default to the VFP default. Personally, I don't use the forms' DE for anything, which may indicate what a VFP/OOP newbie I am ... but I'm not using it because none of my apps are MDI. (Yet.)

I'll be interested to find out, I'm sure a greater guru will jump in with the answer any time now ...
