Then I take it that every entry in the help file should be a book? That entry says that you must set multilocks on to set buffering with cursorsetprop() and that is what you must do. it says nothing about anything else because you don't need to set multilocks on or off for cursors in a DE.

I understand that you want more in the help file, I am happy with what is there mostly, I agree some things are not that good, but the VFP docs are better than most.
