>I've never been spoiled by another product :) But as said previously, NTServer Server Manager requires no server login to view open files, you can do it right from your desktop, with some level of Admin rights. In fact, you can control connections from your desktop, as well. No need to travel to a server, some of which are a good distance away...
You can run Novell "console" programs from any workstation on the network as well, as long as you're logged in with a certain level of administrative privilege. I've worked on both Novell and NT, and Novell has always seemed to me to be more stable and more intuitive to manage. But saying it's more intuitive may just be because it's what I worked on first, and have worked on most.
