I just created a simple form.
Added a table to the DE.
Dragged the cursor to the form to create a grid.
Add this code to the form's load: ON KEY F12 MESSAGEBOX( 'OKAY!' )
Ran the form. Clicked in various grid columns and pressed different function keys.

Results: when I clicked F12, I got my messagebox as expected. When I clicked different function keys, no character was echoed, and I only got an error beep.

Do you have any other information that would help me/us recreate the problem?

BTW, I'm running 5.0a build 415 under Window's 95.
>Yes, it places an italic 'f' in the field when I press any function key other than f1. The code to recreate it ???? there is none.

>The reason I am even worrying about it is that I have created ON KEY code that does a print screen when the f12 key is pressed. It works fine on fields other than the those in the grid.
