There have been a number of discussions here on UT in the past couple of months; you might want to go back an do a search on "threading" here on UT. I'm not aware of anyone having done a KB article here. Briefly, VFP 6 doesn't really implement apartment threading properly, and there are problems as a result. There have been references to an upcoming fix, but I'm not involved in any of the beta testing going on with VFP6 (I wasn't asked if I'd be interested in any product testing, and haven't indicated to MS that I wanted to participate, so this isn't much of a surprise. My understanding is that any work on the upcoming releases are a closed test, and covered by NDA, so I'd be very surprised to see any real details on the current status.)
