I have a combo box that is Dropdown Combo style and uses fields as the record source type. I am typing in a value that is not contained in the dropdown list and I am using the DisplayValue vs. Value to store the data into my control source. The data gets store fine, however, after typing the text into the combo field and hitting the tab, the text disappears from the field. This will be confusing to a usser. Is there something I need to do to keep the text visible in the combo box field after I losefocus from the field? Thanks again everyone.
