VFP's native GETDIR() provides most of the functionality you want; I've written an enhanced GetDir() that uses the Shell.Application object to give access to a bit more functionality, and Bela Bodecs wrote a really neat .FLL which provides even more capability, but requires you to include his (freely redistributable) .FLL with your project to make it work.
