>Our application is in VFP 3.0, so we want to convert by the end of the year so we can implement the ROLLOVER clause in the SET CENTURY command. We only have one application in VFP (a small part of which is used as an OLE/Active X server in another application - this is VFP 3.0 code that is brought into a VFP 5.0 project and compiled there to get a server). It is what I would consider a large application. Our entire business depends on it, so we can't afford to go to 6.0 if we are going to have major problems. If worse comes to worst, I will code ROLLOVER-type handling into date entry classes and stick with 3.0. But I am confident that by the end of summer, I will be converting or converted.
I'd definitely only convert to 5 (first, at least), if you have a large 3 app. The app I mentioned that had trouble converting to 6 was originally a 3 app, and I moved to 5 with no problems, but it will hardly run at all in 6 (errors, extreme slowness)...
