Robert,
I think a development tool must include timely updates. Nothing infuriates a developer more than to call support and be told the problem has been fixed and will be out in the Spring maintainence release when their application is dead in the water until the fix becomes available.
I think the Web postings should continue, but they should include a posting date so one can easily tell if something is new. I usually re-download all the VFP 6 updates when I see a new one, because I don't know for sure the others have not been updated with an improved patch. Also having the date provides an order inwhich to apply the updates in case there is some required sequence.
I agree with what others are also saying, that the service pack should include all prior interum updates to cut down on maintainence. I just upgraded my disk to a much larger disk and reinstalled everything including the four or five patches. Until I saw your note yesterday I had not reloaded the patches because I thought SP2 would have surly included every known fix upto that point.
