John,

The Help Authoring tools like ForeHelp and RoboHelp have suites that can output both .HLP and HTMLHelp format files.

>I am currently using both VFP 3 and VFP 6. Version 3 had a very archaic system for building winhelp files. Version 6 mentions a help workshop in previous versions that assisted in the building of winhelp. VFP 6 has gone to HTML based help systems in the workshop. Is there a utility out there that automates the building of winhelp files that would work with VFP 3 applications? If you use the html workshop in VFP 6, does the user have to use IE to view the help file, or will any browser work? Will VFP 3 applications work with the html style help systems?
