I agree. SQL Server is now quite affordable and much easier to maintain than it used to be. In the time you would spend writing a very limited replication engine for VFP you could learn SQL Server and get very sophisticated replication up and running.

In the end, its all about using the correct tool for the job. With regard to replication, while you can simulate it in VFP, in the end, you don't really come that close to the real thing.
