Thanks for the reply. No, I don't need OCR software. They don't want to scan in the text from a supporting document, they want to scan in the supporting documents themselves and tie them to the document they are keying in via a link table with the document image(s) scanned in, or by saving the actual image(s) into a general field. I need to be able to scan the supporting document image(s) from the data entry form by having a scan button. I don't need to have the image data converted to text via OCR or anything else.

If you have done this, or know of what's involved in doing this please reply back to me. Thank you again for your reply.
