Perhaps a better approach would be a regular update status report on the product that could be available here at the UT. I'm sure that the VFP team at MS has a working document that they use establish priorities for their programmers. It wouldn't have to be as detailed as the document they use and I wouldn't ask them to give away any secrets.

This status report would let us know what is going on with VFP. Also we could give a copy to our clients to show that work is continuing on the product.
