I have a remote view that when I open it, using USE VIEWNAME, in an application, I immediately get the following messagebox:

Edits to one or more of the views may not be permanent. To remedy this, ensure the View's Send SQL Updates checkbox in the View Designer.

When I check the view designer, Update Criteria tab, the SEND SQL UPDATES checkbox is disabled and cannot be checked. I assume this is because the FairCom 32-Bit ODBC Driver only allows read-only access to these ctree files.

How do I keep this messagebox from showing up in the application?
