I'm trying to grab data from an ODBC source (btrieve) in chunks, manualy. I know VFP lets me specify asynchronous population of
a grid, but what I'm really interested is specifying a number
of records to grab and then manually triggering the download
of the next N records (and then the next N, and the next N...)

Better yet, I would like to be able to specify a chunk of records
from record x to record y, but this seems to not be possible.

If anyone has any insight into this I'd appreciate it (as I am
deep into research on this and have exhausted all avenues
of progress at my disposal).
