I have done something like this in two apps using the MAPI Active-X controls that come with VFP. They are easy to use, but it can be a bit confusing. For example, I've had something working for a year or so with Eudora as my MAPI client. But when I tried it using Outlook Express that comes with IE4, I got errors. Eudora's MAPI seems to be more forgiving than OEs. But I was able to get it to work.
