Typo in the last message. DDE works well with WordPerfect. OLE doesn't seem to work well.

If you use WP, try DDE. If you have any problems, let me know. Our booklets have a lot of neat stuff in them that is all generated from the VFP program. It is all data-driven. Other than the general layout, one booklet can be quite different than another. With a word processor, making a table of contents is a no-brainer. Formatting like block protects, bullets, etc. are all easy. If you can type it into a word processor manually, you can do it automatically from your program.

>We have system generated booklets. I would suggest that you use the word processor of choice to create the booklet. Hopefully the company has standardized their word processor. If you use Word, create the booklet with OLE. If you use WordPerfect, I would suggest using DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) and OLE is problematic with WP.

>>I have a database that I would like to create booklets with. The booklet would be printed duplex, landscape on 8.5 x 11 with 2 columns of data then foleded in half to creat the booklet. The booklets will have a varible number of pages, so the program will need to create logical pages printed in a logical sequence.
