The only thing I can think of is that you have a DSN that refers to a non-compliant (ie, not current revision level) ODBC driver. Take a look with the ODBC32INST Control Panel applet to see if something obvious is wrong; I just checked the machine I'm working on, and discovered that some of the drivers (seen from the Drivers page of the ODBC applet) are version 2.0, and one from Visigenic is actually at revision level 1.3! Most are current versions.
