Yes, this is possible. You need to define the data source of the DataControl to access the VFP tables through ODBC. I think there is a setting for one of the DataControl properties that will let you select either default engine (MS Jet for Access .MDB files) or ODBC connection, where you would specify the VFP ODBC datasource set up on the machine.

I'm not at my VB machine right now, but let me know if you need more help, and I'll provide further details later when I'm at the other machine.
