>We have a VFP 5.0 app that runs on NT, but is packaged also for a demo to be run on Win9x (or even NT). I'm currently using the VFP Setup Wizard. I need to launch the demo app (same exe) with 2 different parameter settings. So, I need to place 2 separate shortcuts in the start\programs menu. The demo also needs to set the windows/dos path (actually add to the PATH statement already there if one exists).

I moved from VFP 5. install to Installshield EXPRESS 2.x (not the big 5.x). It is quite simple to use. I only regret i did make the decision earlier.
Making good installs is part of our productivity. Buying a good standalone install builder is a worthwile effort. You can get as many shortcuts as you wish with Installshield Express on diffferent locations incl. the deskop
Good luck
