I would recommend controlling Outlook. It's pretty easy. Look for vbaoutl.hlp on your Office or Outlook CD. I think there's also some info on Microsoft's site. Check the Office and Outlook sites and msdn.microsoft.com.

You can also do it with MAPI, but I've found direct automation to Outlook to be faster and more powerful.

He would also like to begin auto e-mailing his installers the list of work to do each day plus be able to e-mail the customer a conformation that the work has been done. The volume is in the order of several hundered orders or more a day.
