Hi Sunny,
Are you wanting to send files by modem, or e-mail. Seems like two separate things to me. If you want e-mail, see other thread about using MAPI or MAPI OLE. If you want to send files using MSComm32, you have to handle the transfer yourself, a block at a time. You would be duplicating functions available in other Active-x communications controls.
I would suggest you look at PDQComm. It is made by the same company that wrote MSComm32, and is considered to be the upgrade to it. It contains file transfer protocols.
