Nikos,

If your scanner is TWAIN compliant, you can do it with the third party library from ESPIA.

I created the interface in Visual Foxpro and by calling the methods in the ESPIA Class library I aquired the image from the scanner and then saved it as a tiff image and then into a memo field.

This library also contains methods that permit you to convert an image from one format to another. For example, I convert the tiff image to bmp for printing purpose.

You can reach them at 206-643-7001 or WWW.ESPIA.COM.

I Hope this helps.
