In my case the users _cannot_ close the form - it simply sits there and nothing will close it. As a temporary fix I have set up an OKL to issue a _screen.activeform.release().

It is even more disruptive because I had logic to prevent anyone from exiting the system if a window is active so this caused a major problem.

It seems that the problem seems to manifest itself after a user walks away from his PC and then returns several minutes later - the users are convinced that their boss has told me to instruct the computer to go on a wildcat strike if they do this<vbg>.
