Win98, VFP6.0-remote view->MSSQL6.5
I have a remote table with a column of C(32) type.
Openning first a corresponding remote view and then fild properties window i see that the Width property of the column is shown to be 20. OK, i change it to 32 and save the view.
Next step: look at the Width of the column again, and what i see - 20. Exit without saving. Look inside .dbc file the value there is 32.
It appears that VFP6.0 ingnores all that's wider than 20 and imposes its own limit of 20.

Experiment with Format and Input Mask properties of a remote view and you'll see something stranger.
