In VFP, I can call the function getfldstate to
determine if data has changed in the current record
so I can prompt the user to save before moving
the record pointer. Is there a similar function for
ADO Recordsets?

By default, ADO recordsets get updated automatically
when the user moves the record pointer. I simply want
to prompt the user for saving changes, not automatically update.
