I once spent a half day trying to do this (given it was a half day about a year ago). I played with binding the another control to the grid property, and such, and could never get it to work. IMHO, this is the one honest good use for Access/Assign. (Not that Access/ Assign is not good, its just that besides things like this, they didn't give us anything we couldn't be doing before).
