make sure the Task bar is not set for on top, and in your start up folder creat a link to VFP. example

program= c:\vfp\vfp.ex -t c:\main\start.prg
Start folder = c:\main

also make sure that your application starts as a desktop form, this does not control the desk top, but hides it
