You are correct, thanks. I reread the Help file for ASELOBJ and noticed that line "...when callling from the command window."

My scheme is then
MODI FORM MyForm
DO MyBuilder &&--Code to call ASELOBJ(MyArray,1) is in here

This gets me on the road.
