>I have a potential client that wants an app that requires WYSIWYG forms management. They want to be able to add records to a system that would generate multi-page forms with a header and footer and resizable rows on screen that would contain several columns. The columns would contain either vertically sizeable, editable text fields or diagrams with cut and paste and edit capabilites. Also, any column+row (rectangular) region on the form could have "hot-spots" on the form for allowing the user to show popup windows for selecting valid items for that region. And of course it would print as seen on the screen.

I would look into using OLE with Word. (If they don't have word add it's price to your spec.) You can create TEMPLATES that are the forms, and all the power of word would be there when they are filling them out. You could host Word right in your VFP form too.
