I am displaying text only content from the URL in the browser. As a matter of fact I just purchased Web Connect from Rick Strahl and I know it includes the wwIPStuff libraries as well. I could for all intents and purposes at this time load a grid with the results of the URL query. I'll have to look at the library. I guess HTTPGet() should handle that. Thanks for the tip.

>I can only guess at what your program is doing, but it sounds like you might want to look at Rick Strahl's wwIPStuff. It allows you to fetch the results of a URL into a string, without going through a browser. Or are you actually displaying content?

>>Actually I can't get to them that way since the history folder is a system folder that adir can not access. Ideally I would like to turn off history logging within IE while the app is running. Does anyone know a a call to IE that would make this possible or a way at getting at these shortcuts (deleting them) with VFP?.

>>>Hisotry is stored as shortcuts in \windows\history... you should be able to delete them as you delete files.
