With the detail CursorA being the primary to run the report, if I try to click on arrow to advance to next page, the report preview changes the alias to CursorB.

Don, I had this thing before. Try to use Private Datasession for the report if possible. If you run the report on form's datasession, you may also try to create report cursor in the report Dataenvironment.Init().
