Well, I was prepared to argue with you, but I can't, you are correct.

If you do MODI FORM MyForm, and go to debug and enter "_VFP" in the Watch window, there is no objects collection to exploit. But, if you assume that the objects are there, and type in "_VFP.Objects(2)", you see that it is there.

Alas, Nancy's point that ASELOBJ() can be used eliminates the problem anyway.
