>Thanks for your reply Erik. I see what you are saying. Yeah, I didn't think it would be an easy "conversion." But Wow! Web Connection looks pretty cool from here. I am using Mere Mortals. Take a look at thread #183735 if you get a chance. I also posted a question on WWC's message board now that I found it. You can find it by searching for Mere Mortal. But thanks for your reply. Yeah, I have my work cut out for me. But, boy it looks like you can really build some cool stuff with Web Connection and a good framework like Mere Mortal. My question in this thread was brought on because I have an older app that wasn't built with the business object mentality and wanted to see what the potential of "Web Connecting" it was. Looks like you pretty much have to build an app with the right approach from the beginning to get it to work with things like Web Connection. Makes sense though. Thanks for your reply!!!

A lot of the conversion would actually be easier if you already had written the application using business objects. The switch between front-ends becomes a lot simplier (which is the idea). The code you would write in the WWC Process object becomes your UI layer, and your business object interacts with the data.

I'm using both WWC and Mere Mortals also. I keep telling myself I'm going to look into merging the two frameworks so I can get the best of both worlds. Of course, I still haven't gotten around to it. But it really is something I should be doing. The more you use both frameworks (and continue to write programs for two different UI's) - the more you'll appreciate the idea behind separating the business logic from the UI.

Having said all that, it's still really easy to create some impressive results in WWC. I nearly had a full-blown application written for WWC after the first full week of using it. Actually, that was the point I decided to buy it ;-)
