In what way, exactly, does it fail? It works perfectly as expected for me. I'm wondering what behavior you're seeing.

One thing which "caught" me, (but I don't think it applies to you because you're probably not using a grid). If you have a column based on a logical field, you want to use the column's InputMask property, not the contained textbox's.

At first I couldn't figure out why the whole column was showing .T./.F. unless the logical column in the active row had the focus, then that field showed Y/N. I investigated on my own and found that the column had InputMask and Format properties, and that was what I wanted. (Actually you always want to use the column's properties, the contained object's properties are just for overriding the column's on the active row.)

Sorry for mentioning it if this was immediately obvious to everyone else ...
