It's kinda strange roblem though, may I know what version of Foxpro do you use ?
BTW, reseting grid controlsource, make grid repainted, the best way is adding an ala "Edward Pikman" code on Refresh() event or any UDF method, this.recordsource=this.recordsource (but still the form/program that closed because of grid repainting is sound so weird).
